Committee Chairs

Government Relations Committee – The RMA has a strong outreach program to provincial and federal governments on all aspects of legislation and regulations that impact the credit sector. The RMA is fortunate to have Patrick Dion Consulting working in tandem with the Government Relations Committee, chaired by Jim Shaw, and the RMA has made meaningful input and facilitated change with provincial regulations for well over a decade. Scholarship Committee – As an association that wishes to set the best example for our industry we have a scholarship program for employees and family members of those employees for companies that are members of the RMA. Scholarships are awarded annually, and Tony Pampena is the chair of this committee. For further information please email Tony at

Conference/Event Committee – The RMA hosts an annual national conference that is attended by credit and finance professionals from all over Canada and the US, as well as an Annual General Members Meeting that is often coordinated with a golf tournament, and we have also been known to host webinars or other events. Governance Committee – The Governance Committee of the RMA is responsible for reviewing our association bylaws and ensure compliance with our non-profit status, our official standing as an association in Canada, and the activities of our board governing the association.
